About Jake.
Jake Lee (he/him) is a Toronto-based filmmaker who delves into the emotional complexities of the modern experience. A graduate of York University’s BFA Film Program, Jake has edited short films for several BIPOC creators, with his work earning a Canadian Cinema Editors' nomination for the web series Streams Flow From a River.

Passionate about exploring a wide array of genres, Jake brings deep, authentic storytelling to the forefront, capturing the nuances of human connection and community. ​

Jake was a resident in the Editors' Lab at the Norman Jewison Film Program 2024 via the Canadian Film Centre.
